What equipment is eligible for a rebate?

Keep in mind

• Applications must be submitted within 90 days of purchase, or by December 31, 2024, whichever comes first.
• Equipment must be purchased, installed and operating between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024, to be eligible for a rebate.
• Rebates are issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Iowa/Illinois rebates cannot exceed 70% of the equipment cost for smart thermostats. Equipment cost does not include labor.
• Nebraska rebates cannot exceed 50% of installed cost (reasonable labor and material/equipment-reasonableness to be determined by MidAmerican Energy).

• Collect all necessary documents and have them ready for upload, including itemized sales receipt or invoice

• All equipment and installation information provided on this application is correct and accurate
• The customer has purchased the equipment described on the application and that equipment has been installed at the service address indicated

We’ve transitioned many of our equipment incentives to the Instant Discounts program. Iowa and Illinois residential and business customers can receive equipment discounts at the time of purchase when they work with a registered Instant Discounts provider.
